US Furious Over Pointing Out the Obvious: UN Expert's Claims of 9/11 'Cover-up'

Richard Falk, UN special rapporteur on human rights is pictured in 2005.
The United States on Tuesday demanded the sacking of Falk for "noxious"
comments claiming there had been a US cover-up over the September 11 attacks.

Ed. note: Even though Falk states he thinks bin Laden was the mastermind, we all know he didn't do it, made a statement to that fact on the day of the attack, is still not wanted by the FBI for 9/11 according to their 10 Most Wanted list and his wanted reward poster, along with the world reporting and knowing of his death in December 2001. Still, good for Falk getting it into the mainstream again. The rest of the world knows the US attacked itself with the help of USrael and the oligarchs.

The United States on Tuesday demanded the sacking of a UN human rights expert for "noxious" comments claiming there had been a US cover-up over the September 11 attacks.

UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon condemned the comments by Richard Falk, UN special rapporteur on human rights in the Palestinian territories, as "an affront" to the victims of the 2001 Al-Qaeda attacks on New York and Washington.

The US ambassador to the United Nations, Susan Rice, called Falk's views "despicable and deeply offensive" and said she had registered a protest and called for his dismissal.

Falk wrote in his personal blog on January 11 that there are "awkward gaps and contradictions in the official explanations" given for the attacks when hijacked jets crashed into the World Trade Center towers in New York and the Pentagon in Washington.

He said there was "an apparent cover-up" by the US government over its knowledge of the attacks masterminded by Osama bin Laden.

Falk said mainstream US media had been "unwilling to acknowledge the well-evidenced doubts about the official version of the events: an Al-Qaeda operation with no foreknowledge by government officials."

Ventura Sues TSA Over Airport Patdown

MINNEAPOLIS, Jan. 25 (UPI) -- Former Minnesota Gov. Jesse Ventura is suing the Transportation Security Administration for allegedly violating his privacy rights during an airport patdown.

Ventura, who gained fame as a professional wrestler and describes himself in the lawsuit as a "television performer," filed the suit Monday in U.S. District Court for Minnesota, KSTP-TV, Minneapolis, reported.

The suit names the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano, the Transportation Security Administration and TSA Administrator John Pistole, the newspaper said.

The complaint alleges Ventura was subjected to "warrantless, non-suspicion-based offensive touching, gripping and rubbing of the genital and other sensitive areas of his body," when a TSA agent patted him down in November 2010 at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. The lawsuit asserts the patdown met "the definition for an unlawful sexual assault" KSTP reported.

"He sees the erosion of civil liberties here and he's willing to stand up not only for himself, but for others," Ventura's attorney, David Olsen told the TV station.

"The security procedures are going too far," Olsen said. "There's a line somewhere and he believes that line has been crossed."

A TSA representative told KSTP the agency would not comment because the litigation is pending.

NILA SAGADEVAN: 9/11 – MISSION ACCOMPLISHED?

This essay has been substantially revised.. Rather than approach the uninitiated from a point of technical facts and inconsistencies (as most of us do), this fresh tack attempts to expose the utter absurdity of the OCT, and thereby hopefully arouse interest employing a tad of tongue-in-cheek levity. It is rather long, but does cover much ground... -Nila

9/11—Mission Accomplished?

By Nila Sagadevan

“The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.”
— Edmund Burke

Having researched the 9/11 cover-up full-time for several years and done my bit as an activist, I had finally decided to withdraw in utter frustration at my seeming inability to open as many eyes as I would have liked. Following a rather long hiatus, I find myself back in the saddle.

Especially in the face of these ongoing illegal wars that continue to devour lives at a sickening rate, I’ve come to realize that efforts to help expose the truth behind 9/11 must transcend personal considerations. Given that it is 9/11 that lies at the root of this horrific slaughter of innocents in distant lands (now well over a million), I truly believe this is a vitally important, selfless, pursuit that embodies the highest form of patriotism and public service imaginable.

Besides, it is impossible to function normally in the “matrix” once you’ve swallowed the red pill. There’s simply no going back to the world of illusion when Truth stares you in the face at every turn. I am cursed with a constitution that will not allow me to drift along pretending all’s well when I know beyond a doubt we’ve been deceived en masse by a cadre of criminals in our midst.

I recently returned from a month-long tour of a few European cities. Having been buried in work for months on end, this little diversion afforded a much welcome opportunity to experience the world ‘out there’ first-hand, through the refreshing clarity of unfiltered lenses—I.e., untainted by the diet of ceaseless spin fed us by our “in-bedded” media.

Most importantly, it gave me occasion to speak with a good number of people in a variety of interesting settings, including a UN conference, where, over the course of a week, I found splendid opportunities to converse, in some depth, with individuals from over twenty countries.

In many of my conversations during my travels around Europe, I couldn’t help but notice a veiled yet persistent emotion that kept bubbling, almost imperceptibly, to the surface.

Fear.

Bono and Bill Gates-backed Global Health Charity EXPOSED as a Fraud

Activist Post

What institutions can you trust these days with your donations?  The Associated Press reported today that the $21.7 billion Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria is a fraud where at least two-thirds of the funds were "pocketed," and donated medicines were sold on the black market for profit.

The prestigious development fund is backed by celebrities like Bono, politicians like French president Sarkozy, and a cool $150 million from Bill and Melinda Gates.  The AP wrote, "The fund has been a darling of the power set that will hold the World Economic Forum in the Swiss mountain village of Davos this week."
