With Luke Rudkowski's Ouster, We Are Change are Left with Just That, Leftover Change

Ed. note: It doesn't help the "truth movement" when you  try and cover-up your own indiscretions. What you do is immediately apologize for the problematic issue and then ask for forgiveness - you don't go on the attack, going after the messenger reporting on the news. Just as with Nixon, it wasn't the crime that got him, it was the cover-up.


This email was sent to me at the outset by a couple of members from the WAC group discussing the problem and unfortunately a cover-up, rather than attacking the ensuing problems with this unfortunate lack of integrity. I've held off publishing this and other email exchanges hoping they would rectify the issue themselves rather than cover-up the financial issue and attack childlike with ad-hominems on this site rather than address the issue which is telling in and of itself. This story has nothing to do with Luke's great work in exposing crimes of world leaders, which I applaud and look forward to more activist journalism which we need more of, but integrity is the issue and it is hard to point out the faults of the big boys and act just like them on a small scale, making WAC stand more for "We Are Cover-Up." The email is posted as I received it and has their formatting.

Ok folks, we have a problem.

Craig posted this redacted news article that presumably Heather must have written.

Luke of course saw it, and reacted by removing Craig from the meetup and downgrading the rest of us to co-organizers.

This article basically details everything that is happening exactly the way Heather wanted to.  The group decided NOT to put out this letter. Now while Craig argues that this is NOT Wearechange NYC making an official statement, we are still imply consent by reposting this. If Craig  or anyone else wants to post this on their wall that is their personal business.
But the group agreed we DID NOT want to come out strongly on this. And posting this article is basically the same thing as us making our own statement. At this point all this has accomplished was to aggravate Luke.

Luke came to me on Thursday night and apologized for everything. He said he was sorry, and that he loves me, and wants to make things better, and we need to all work together. Whether or not he was sincere I don’t know. He did have tears streaming down his face, so I would give him the benefit of the doubt for now. I have been keeping in touch with him, and trying to build back a rapport that will eventually (hopefully) lead to real reconciliation and transparency.

Posting this article on the WAC NYC site is counterproductive in my opinion, and violates the spirit of the group consensus NOT to put out a detailed statement about this.

Now my personal feeling? I WOULD LOVE to expose all his bullshit. I would love to go on the record saying the story in the Redacted news piece is true. But I think it will hurt our group, and the movement.

After years of suspicion and accusations by former and current members of We Are Change NYC, Luke Rudkowski has been ousted stemming from months, if not years, of internal conflict regarding the groups finances. Palpable tension between Rudkowski and the body of members of We Are Change began in the weeks following their September 11th, 2010 fundraiser for First Responders.

As the weeks turned into months following 9/11 fundraising events in September, members grew concerned which turned into anger. From discussions with many from the group this apparently was nothing new. Members reported this to to become an annual trend. Questions would be raised concerning the finances following the 9/11 fundraising event with the group at that point, stonewalled. Tension rose and by mid-November Rudkowski was refusing to appear at any of the scheduled We Are Change meetings to discuss the groups finances.

By this time Rudkowski had ceased showing up to Ground Zero group actions held every Saturday for at least 5 weeks that members could recall. To those volunteers who had worked so hard, putting in months of set-up for the event or running the operations during the successful event, this was beyond acceptable for the group's members. Two months was a long enough wait.

One worried member of We Are Change met with Rudkowski at a coffee shop near his Brooklyn residence on Saturday, November 6, 2010 to go over the bank statements and Paypal records in an effort to assess the financial situation. It was apparent in the statements that thousands of dollars were not accounted for. Most notably absent from the accounting records were the Paypal statements. Paypal had been the source of all of We Are Change's online fund drives over the years. Why hadn't any money from Paypal been transfered into the bank account? It seemed no funds from Payapl had ever been transfered into this We Are Change bank account. Rudkowski could not explain, when asked directly, where the collected funds were.

In the course of the meeting, which was recorded reluctantly but with his consent, Rudkowski had no explanation as to current whereabouts of the group's funds was nor to questions regarding his lack of fiscal responsibility and accountability to the members and donors of We Are Change. Rudkowski is quoted as saying, "No one is going to stop me from doing what I want to do, I'm the only one who does anything and I'm disbaning the group." Beyond this statement, he had no explanation as to the current account balance only showing $383.

Later that evening at We Are Change's weekly meeting, the members were informed of the earlier meeting with Rudkowski and listened to the recording of that fiscal meeting. At the conclusion of the group's meeting the members issued a letter to Rudkowski in which they found him to be in violation of their stated code of conduct of which he introduced in writing up the by-laws of We Are Change, giving him 14 days to bring all documents regarding the finances to their next group meeting over the issue.

On November 20, 2010, Rudkowski attended the We Are Change weekly meeting to present his records. The group members were presented with an excel spread sheet listing expenses and a running tally of funds. At that time, the group was informed that Rudkowski used aproximately $400 of We Are Change funds to purchase a camera, DV tape and an external hard drive without group's required consent. His reason for not getting permission for the purchases, he stated, was that the group was "not meeting" so he didn't have the opportunity to bring the expenditure to a vote. The meetings had been held as scheduled, but according to group members, Rudkowski had been absent from all subsequent meetings. In addition, the Paypal records requested for this meeting with the group were not available.

Just two days before this November 20 meeting, the bank account showed only $383. By the end of the discussion with the group members, they were shocked to learn there was over $11,400 in the account. That raised concern and many questions by the members. Where did this money come from? Why had a large deposit been made two days before this meeting? The money came from a bank bag Rudkowski claimed he had been keeping at his house for the past three years.

The funds and accounting, or lack thereof, was of great concern to the group's members, yet it was at this time that a consensus decision had been made, wherein WAC notified Rudkowski that they no longer wished to work with him. When asked if he would divide and allocate the funds from collected donations and event proceeds to We Are Change, to be placed into their new account, as the group decided to continue on as We Are Change without him, Rudkowski responded that he would "give some money," provided no one spoke of the internal conflict and details of the split. At that time no deal had been formalized and agreed upon by the group, realizing it was key to moving forward.

At the subsequent scheduled weekly meeting, the group member's main agenda were their finances and the current problem, but again Rudkowski was absent. The group agreed and decided that most of the money needed to be donated as soon as possible.

Charlie Giles, of the FealGood Foundation, was contacted and the ball was set in motion. A few weeks later, Rudkowski was contacted personally by Charlie Giles on behalf of a several 9-11 first responders in dire need of financial assistance, but unfortunately was told that money in the We Are Change bank account needed to go to the retention of an accountant, financial consultant and a lawyer. First Responder Mike McCormack was told the same thing that same afternoon. They were also informed by Rudkowski that We Are Change had no authority to decide how money was to be allocated or used.

Once again the group's members were in both shock and awe as they learned of this response by Rudkowski to the First Responders. Most had stated that they believed there was no justification to withhold such a large amount of money raised for the First Responders. The yearly operating expenses were minimal in comparison to the now current and available funds in the account - First Responders needed help. All attempts by his former group members to contact Rudkowski regarding the issue has not be fruitful. He continues to stonewall and/or ignore members regarding the group's supplies, cameras, and funds.

According to We are Change, the group continues to operate on very limited funds the way it has since it's inception. If its any indication as to where this group is now going, on January 1, 2011, We Are Change NYC took to the new year and Ground Zero educational activism in full force, ready to greet the tourists and public eager to educate them on the full story as to what happened on 9/11, the full story that the Chairman of the 9/11 Commission claim they did not receive themselves during their "investigation."

During the first We Are Change meeting of the year, a group of about 18 members ratified a soverignty statement that was immediately published on their new website WeAreChangeNYC.org. In addition, they held elections, creating the office of Secretary, Treasurer, as well as positions for Fundraising and Outreach directors in a swift move forward. They look forward to recruiting new members in a cohesive, productive build up to the tenth anniversary of September 11th, 2001.

    That money either went to Israel or into Rudkowskis' bank account. That's one of the primary purposes of these types of controlled opposition operations...absorb as much time, energy, and money as possible from WeAreChange in order to prevent it from having any negative effect upon the Jewish NWO.

  4. I like to thank you for posting this My team an I have been fighting for transparency since we were kicked out and our chapter deleted without a democratic vote back in 2008. We went through the death threats and the personal attacks for daring to question where the money went. I am personally glad of the movement to keep a close eye on our own movement to prevent this from happening again.

  5. This is a good thing. WAC NY needed a clean break from Luke and they are going to get it. Activists needed to see WAC is like all organizatoins prone to being overtaken by the enemy. We all owe WAC for it's efforts but at the same time cannot be held back by it. Except for those incapable of acting autonoumously, we move forward outside of any and all organizations.   8. I'd lke to thank Harry, Louie and everyone else for their work making this a more transparent movement. I am still amazed that someone like Luke could have imagined an organization based on liberty could be run like a private bank. It's worse than the Fed.

    It's been a terrible waste, but at least now the stains can be cleaned up.

I would also like to make everyone know that if it wasn't for the tireless efforts of Pat BushCrime Family, Dallas C., and myself there would be no push for transparency in this movement. we dealt again with the death threats and the slander so that you can question without any ridicule. How can a group, We Are Change, founded on the moral principles of standing up to and exposing government corruption, to be a force for oversight and transparency of authoritarian rule, even consider an attempt to cover-up a case of embezzlement by the face, the front man, the main PR person whose admitted to financial fraud? It's not on the same scale, as we have come to find out from investigative journalists, that the SEC did the same thing for 12 years, covering up for Bernie Madoff who stole $65 billion from the people that entrusted him with their finances, their savings, their livelihoods, destroying lives in the end. How can you investigate the malfeasance of the Federal Reserve yet permit it in your own organizations?

    When you find cancer in your body, you get rid of it by getting detoxifying to eradicate the deadly growth, not by bringing the tumor back in. I would think that any progressive WAC chapter around the globe would see the hypocrisy of the problem brought to the forefront and the need to tackle it before it becomes too large to manage and correct, to not be branded just another great idea of change, by a group of good people, only permitted to turn bad and watched as it dies on the vine.

    In the end, they did the right thing. Should he get back into the graces of WACNYC, it will show how integrity was never a thought.

  15. I've known Luke since before he started WAC, and met him during the Sept. 2006 9/11 conference, and i don't remember any of these clowns who are "oustering" (read: taking over for their own benefit) ever being there to help Luke.

    Any time I've ever been out to NY, Luke was ALWAYS at Ground Zero on the Saturday (with his core friends) handing out materials, talking with people, giving his TIME (the most valuable currency) and energy.

    He's one of the most humble dudes i know, living near poverty in Brooklyn, trying to better himself through higher education, and still devoting his time to activism and on-camera confrontations. He's not PROFITING from his work, even if he has had to rely on some of the donation funds.

    I fully agree with DJ BALL, Luke IS WeAreChange - he's the one who put it together, and you can search the YouTube for ALL the confrontations he did - Which put them on the map, and inspired all the offshoot groups which started up. Just because a bunch of outsiders come in and start demanding a democracy, when due diligence reveals many of these people to have Masonic ties and links to other secretive groups.

    Actions speak louder than words, and those of us who can discern will see through the shoddy reporting, and obvious bias of an article written by someone with an obvious interest in the outcome.

    It smells like these infiltrating take-over people only care about the money in the first place, and give no credit to the TIME and energy spent by Luke in the first place with little to no compensation. Do they seriously expect people to just forget everything Luke has done?

    The real people tuned into the heart, who know whats up, who know Luke, who believe in the Principles of Speaking Truth to Power, (not just being armchair activists, or masonic infiltrators) will see through this hostile take-over attempt, and will work to remove these Fabian Wolves in Sheeps-Clothing acting as "Fellow Travelers", when their actions reveal their dubious motivations.

    Don't trust someone who won't use their Given and Family names, and hides behind an alias. They're obviously hiding something.

    Of course they want to take over WeAreChange and keep it about only 9/11 when we ALL know the story is MUCH MUCH bigger...

    Don't fall for the Divide and Conquer of the Brotherhood, it's time to Unite and Prosper as Human's Being (and Doing!)

  17. This is definitely a good start and a step in the right direction. The next would be to remove any members with known secret society affiliations from the movement. I suspect this is all part of the game to make it look like WAC NYC is "cleaning up" by kicking out the thief and chief, Luke Rudkowski, while making 32nd degree Freemason, Craig Fitzgerald, look like one of the heroes, as he is a head organizer for WAC NYC. Look at the past and the history of Freemasonry in relation to causing revolutions and wars to happen under their control of both sides. Then look at the fact that the news is clearly pushing the public into a mindset of starting the next american civil war, or at least violent social uprising. Then realize that a 32nd degree Freemason is at the head of the biggest Anti-NWO organization on Earth. Its time to start noticing these things. Craig's argument is "Do you have any proof against me doing something wrong, other than just being a Freemason?" And the answer to that is: We may never have anything more than that on Craig, as his position may be to steer conversations about certain topic in a specific direction. And we wouldn't even know if he was subverting the movement unless someone who was adept at seeing the tactics of diverting conversations was present at all discussions, keeping a close ear and eye on his positions, statements, and actions.   18. Clearly whoever wrote this is not a journalist, and not even a decent writer. Did they verify the accuracy of the story? Did they interview both sides? It doesn't appear that way.

    Luke founded WeAreChange when he was still a teenager, and it has grown into a worldwide movement. He has gone where others fear to tread, getting arrested in a number of cases. He is still a very young man, and perhaps finance is not his strong suit. What were all of you doing at age 23? Decrying the purchase of a camera and hard drive is ridiculous. They are necessary tools of the trade.

    The members of WACNY have only themselves to blame for not being involved with the accounting from the beginning, and for not setting forth specific rules about how donations are to be spent. Before you started collecting donations for first responders, you should have set forth how those proceeds would be distributed. Is it fair to give them to just a few and not others? Funds should have been in a separate trust account with more than one person as trustee.

    I find it extremely disconcerting to see the fracturing of the truth movement, with WAC and with 911 Blogger, just months away from the 10th anniversary of 911. It would appear Cass Sunstein's work is done.

  19. Interesting read...Used to run a WAC chapter...Talked, hungout with Luke...Guess Im not surprised, theres been rumors about the money for years. Any freemanson in wac needs to be removed, conflict of interest if you ask me. In no way shape or form should wac nyc allow CF to continue to be a part of wac nyc.

    It's called character assassination and I am very familiar with it.You do need money,after all,to pay your phone bills,your rent,your insurance,your car repairs,your reefer sticks,your haircuts,your dates with the attractive women you meet at Ground Zero,etc.,etc.

    The truth of this matter is that Luke is now a Urantia reader and way beyond petty morals.

  21. I'm not very familiar with WRC, but, why do many of the websites of WRC use the term 'social justice' when describing themselves? This term is right out of the UN's Agenda 21 which is not an agenda of liberty. That term is a huge red flag for me. When I see that I think front group. I'm not saying you are but...

  23. I am happy that this article exists because it provides some resolution to the, I thought, seemingly credible embezzlement allegations from 2010. With that said it seems like this guy is walking around with impunity and pretending that this whole affair never occurred? How is that possible within a community that places premium value on "truth"? Have some integrity people and hold his feet to the fire, the fact he isn't totally ostracized and held up as an example of someone who was up to no good but was discovered is actually blowing my mind. I don't understand why people would allow this.
